Last week, the judging took place of the Christmas Card Competition, run by Van Community Councillors and St James Primary.
The Councillors were very impressed by the variety and standard of work that the children had produced, and would like to thank all the teachers and staff at the school for the help and assistance they provided in making this a success.
Due to Covid, the Councillors were unable to join the assembly in person on Friday to make the presentations, but we are grateful to Mrs Dargie, Head, who arranged for Councillors to join remotely by video. The winners were presented with an art set, and all the children received a selection box from the Community Council. Merry Christmas !
