Van Community Council strongly oppose the suggestion of proposed flats or any other additional housing on the site, and express their support to the provision of additional community services. Councillors and residents, are of the firm opinion that the site would be ideal for a community hub; a central point to access services such as mental health awareness, financial sign posting, general issues on the estate.
